Adipotide
Also: FTPP · Pro-apoptotic peptide
Aggressive research peptide that induces fat-cell apoptosis via vascular targeting.
Adipotide (FTPP) was developed at MD Anderson as a vascular-targeting therapy for obesity. In primate studies it produced significant fat loss, but consistently caused renal toxicity at active doses. It remains research-only and is not appropriate for human use outside controlled trials.
Targeted pro-apoptotic peptidomimetic. Binds prohibitin on adipose vasculature, selectively pruning the blood supply to white adipose tissue.

Fat Loss & Body Composition
Direct mechanism on adipose vasculature — strong pre-clinical signal.
STRENGTH80%
Known dose-dependent kidney toxicity in primates. Not safe for use without nephrology monitoring.

Not approved. Trial program halted at human Phase I due to nephrotoxicity.
