What it is

BPC-157 is the most-discussed recovery peptide in circulation. Originally isolated from human gastric juice, it has shown broad tissue-healing effects in animal models — particularly for tendon-to-bone healing, gut barrier integrity, and vascular repair. Human data is limited, which is why it remains research-use-only in most regions, but anecdotal reporting is unusually consistent.

Mechanism

A pentadecapeptide fragment of a gastric protein. Promotes angiogenesis, upregulates growth factors, and stabilizes the gut barrier.

Outcomes it's matched to
Safety

Well tolerated in available studies. Long-term human safety data is limited.

  • Active malignancy (theoretical, due to angiogenic action)
Legal context

Not approved by FDA. Sold for research use only in most jurisdictions.
